Bst DNA Polymerase (Large Fragment)

Summary：

Bst DNA Polymerase (Large Fragment) is a truncated portion of Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA polymerase, with 5'→3' DNA polymerase activity but lacking 5'→3' exonuclease activity, and strong strand displacement activity; purity >99%.

Usage：

This product is suitable for DNA isothermal amplification, DNA sequencing of GC-rich regions, rapid sequencing of nanogram-level DNA templates, and can be used in experiments requiring mesophilic strand displacement, such as LAMP (loop-mediated isothermal amplification), SDA (strand displacement amplification), NEAR (nicking enzyme isothermal amplification), and other isothermal amplification technologies.

Storage solution:

Enzyme is stored in: 20 mM Tris-HCl, 100 mM KCl, 0.1 mM EDTA, 1 mM DTT, 0.1% Tween20, 50% glycerol, pH 7.5, 25°C.

10×Buffer 1.0: 200 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.8 @ 25°C, 100 mM (NH4)2SO4, 1 M KCl, 20 mM MgSO4, 1% Tween 20.

From：

This product is derived from an E. coli strain. Using recombinant site-directed mutagenesis technology, the Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA polymerase gene (retaining only the 5'→3' DNA polymerase domain of the gene and lacking its 5'→3' exonuclease domain) was heterologously expressed in an E. coli strain and obtained after purification.

Storage conditions: Store at -20°C.

Heat inactivation: Inactivate at 80°C for 20 minutes.

Precautions for use: It is recommended that the reaction temperature not exceed 70°C. Not suitable for thermal cycling sequencing or PCR.

Note: This product is for research use only. Do not use for pharmaceutical, clinical treatment, food, or cosmetic purposes.
