About Alcohol Oxidase ZS-AOX: This type of enzyme catalyzes the oxidation of aliphatic alcohols or aromatic alcohols to aldehydes. It uses molecular oxygen and requires no external cofactors, with hydrogen peroxide generated during the reaction. Surzyme has developed 6 alcohol oxidase products (Code ZS-AOX-101～ZS-AOX-106). Among them, ZS-AOX101 and ZS-AOX102 prefer aliphatic alcohol substrates, ZS-AOX103～ZS-AOX105 prefer aromatic alcohol substrates, and ZS-AOX106 is cholesterol oxidase. SZ-AOX serves as a powerful tool for catalyzing the oxidation of aliphatic or aromatic alcohols to produce aldehydes.
